Located 42 miles north of Pullman and 33 miles south of Spokane on Highway 195.  Rosalia is home to the Steptoe Battlefield and Monument, which is located on a hill overlooking the town.  The 25-foot granite memorial marks the location of the last Indian victory over the U.S. Army in 1858.
