A Free Little Library in Palouse

Posted by | Featured News, News | No Comments

The Palouse Library has installed a Free Little Library in Heritage Park.  The Free Little Library is part of seven that will be installed around the county, soon to be part of a world-wide free library organization and online mapping system.  The object of Free Little Libraries is take a book, leave a book.  They do not replace our brick and mortar libraries, but when we are not open, you can always get a free book.  The structure was designed two years ago by students at WSU, fabricated one year ago and installed today, Thursday, August 18, 2016.  Thank you Jeff Snook and Greg Pearce for putting the library in place.  A plaque will soon be in place acknowledging the designers and fabricators.
